CSA Produce Subscription
We are offering two 10-week CSA sessions (Community Supported Agriculture, a fresh produce subscription program) for 2025. We are planning for a spring session (Apr 19 - June 21) followed immediately by a summer session (June 28 - Aug 30). Sign-up and payment for each session will be made separately.
You can read more about CSAs and how they support the local farming community here.
Our CSA includes a collaboration with fellow Piedmont farmer Nicole Rosenberger (Deep River Flower Farm). Nicole and her partner, Evan, grow beautiful cut flowers and are offering bouquets as a stand-alone subscription and as an add-on to the veggie CSA box. This collaborative model worked really well during the 2020 - 2024 seasons, so we’re happy to be working with Deep River Flower Farm again this year!
Our Spring veggie box is comprised of 6-8 seasonal items equaling an average total market value of $30 each week. To give an idea, we expect our first box of the spring session, on April 19th, to look something like: Carrots, Radishes, Parsnips, Salad Mix, Baby Bok Choi, Arugula, and perhaps the very first Asparagus or Green Garlic of the season. Of course there are many variables, and several other vegetables that could be ready at that time, but this is a good example of an early spring offering.
We expect the final box of the Spring session, delivered on June 21st, to be comprised of veggies like: Green Beans, Summer Squash, Cucumbers, Cherry Tomatoes, Basil, Potatoes, and Beets. (in between you will enjoy all of the Cooking Greens, Cabbage, Broccoli, Sugar Snap Peas, Spinach, Head Lettuce, and more!)
Spring session pickups begin on April 19th, and run through June 21st.
